Gary Lee holds a BS degree and an MBA degree from the University of South Carolina. He obtained his CPCU designation in 1986. Lee began his P&C career with Insurance Company of North America in 1973 as a field multi-line claim representative. He was the agent-in-charge of their Charleston, SC territory. In 1976, he was employed by CNA Insurance as their South Carolina resident adjuster handling all lines of P&C claims and some long-term disability claims. He was promoted to Continuing Claims Handling Supervisor, Atlanta, in 1979. Later in 1979, Lee returned to INA, later to merge to become Cigna P&C. He advanced to the position of Property and Auto Liability Supervisor, South Carolina. In a consolidation of offices, Lee became General Liability Unit Manager for Cigna’s Charlotte office. In 1988, Lee was promoted to Auto Unit Manager in Cigna’s Bala Cynwyd, PA office. In 1992, Lee was promoted to Regional VP Claims, Tampa, Florida, in their auto, property and liability claims office. Lee was the manager of the Hurricane Andrew storm office in Florida. In 1994, Lee became VP Claims and Occupational Medicine for Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation. In 1998, Lee was given further responsibility for loss control activities at LWCC. In 2000, Lee was promoted by LWCC to Senior VP. Lee left LWCC later in 2000 to found Resolution Services, Inc. Lee is a former President and current board member of the Bayou Chapter CPCU in Baton Rouge Lee is a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP). Lee is a former adjunct professor for the University of Louisiana Lafayette campus where he taught in their Risk Management program. Lee also taught undergraduate and graduate courses for University of Phoenix in their Online and Baton Rouge campuses.
Libby Lee is a certified legal secretary with an Associate’s Degree from Columbia Commercial College, Columbia, SC. She, along with her husband, Gary, was instrumental in the formation of RSI in 2000. Libby serves as Vice President of Administration for RSI and manages the office operations including all new claim set-ups, acknowledgements and dispositions, invoice/billing, and medical bill review (services provided under contract by Corvel Corp.).
Rebekah Buco - Senior Representative
Rebekah Buco is a 2006 graduate of Louisiana State University. She was hired in April, 2007 as a claims and subrogation associate trainee. Today, Buco is a Team Leader at RSI where she manages subrogation claims as well as workers’ compensation claims. Buco is married to Daniel Buco and together they are raising three young children.

Susan Hardy - Risk Representative, Paralegal
Susan Hardy joined RSI in 2013. Susan is a graduate of McNeese State University with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. She worked as a paralegal for 22 years concentrating on General Liability Defense, Premises Liability, Admiralty & Maritime and Medical Malpractice. Susan served as Workers’ Compensation Coordinator for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. Susan performs as a Senior Representative handling subrogation cases in various states as well as managing workers’ compensation claims in Louisiana.
Cathy Landry - Legal Counsel
Cathy Landry is a graduate of LSU and a graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU. She is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and is also a certified real estate appraiser. Landry moved on to become the Facilities Manager for Jacobs Engineering’s Baton Rouge operations. . After six years with Jacobs, Cathy elected to study law and for several years applied her real estate knowledge in practicing real estate and insurance defense law with a law firm in Baton Rouge. Six years ago Cathy joined RSI, and is a Senior Representative handling subrogation cases in various states, as well as managing workers’ compensation claims in Louisiana, including the negotiation and preparation of workers' compensation settlements.
Jodie McCormack - Risk Representative
Jodie McCormack is a graduate of the University of Denver. She manages a caseload of workers’ compensation claims and handles multi-state workers’ compensation subrogation claims. Jodie and her husband are enjoying raising three children.
Katy Shoptaugh - Risk Representative
Katy Shoptaugh joined RSI in 2012 as an administrative assistant. She assists Libby Lee in managing the office’s administrative function and provides prescreening services in RSI’s subrogation area. Shoptaugh is a graduate of the University of West Alabama and is pursuing graduate studies at Louisiana State University.
Glenn Rooney - Claims Specialist
Rooney is the most recent addition to RSI. Glenn is a senior claims specialist who retired in 2014 as a Workers’ Compensation Supervisor at Stonetrust Commercial Insurance Company. Prior to Stonetrust, Rooney was a Catastrophic Injury Specialist with Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation. Glenn works part-time assisting RSI in the day to day management of pending workers’ compensation claims.
